Whether you live in the city of Toronto in a house downtown or a condo in Yorkville or are going to be taking a trip to Toronto there's never a shortage of things to do or places to see. Toronto has it all. Whatever you're in the mood for, be it exotic cuisine, a play, live sports, or historical landmarks and attractions, you'll find it in Toronto. One of the other best things about going to Toronto is how many live musical events take place every night in Toronto.
If you're a big music lover and are looking for something to do while vacationing in Toronto or after you get off your Toronto CD replication job then why not take in a music show? You might always hear about concerts from popular bands such as Bon Jovi or Rush that take place in large venues such as the Air Canada Centre but there are many other smaller venues that play great concerts too.
They might not have the same capacity as Air Canada Centre but that doesn't matter because they offer other great features. Such as cheaper ticket prices and a more intimate and cozy feel as the venue brings all the patrons closer together. Seeing The Hold Steady play live at a small venue such as Lee's Palace will probably provide you with much more memories as you'll be close to the stage than you would be far up in the nosebleed section of Air Canada Centre listening to a band you can barely see because you're so far away. Do you really want to spend your hard earned Toronto catering tips on that?
We don't think so. At least we don't hope so. In addition to Lee's Palace there are a whole slew of other smaller popular Toronto venues that you can take a show in after you're done with your study English Toronto group or work convention. Those venues include Sneaky Dee's, the Phoenix Concert Theatre, the Horseshoe Tavern, the Dakota Tavern, the Mod Club, the Drake Underground, Garrison, The Rivoli and The Shop at Parts & Labour, just to name a few.
If you one day find yourself looking at cabinets in Toronto and see a sign in the store window for a concert being put on by a band you like but are unfamiliar with the venue don't hesitate. Just go and have fun! |
